I just read a couple good books

Bob Scheinfeld
Busting Loose of the Money Game & Busting Loose of the Business Game.
They are very high level Course like books yet simple and straight to
the point.

The Busting Loose books where initially recommended to us by Gary
Renard.

Right now we are reading the Forgiveness book by Tom Carpenter which
is not out in print yet. It will be out in about a month. Very good
book. The new book coming out is revised and has a lot more
information in it than the one we are reading.

The next book we are going to check out is "Spiritual Enlightenment"
by Jed McKenna which was recommended by Bob Scheinfeld.
It is the first book in a three part series. I'll let you know how it
is.

Does anyone have any good books to recommend?

"A Course in Miracles" is a good buy.
(And its supplements as well.)

Journey Beyond Words by Brent Haskell is like a continuation of ACIM
It aligns with it.
For me, seems like I've bought and read so many books for years, trying to
find "something". I'm currently turned off books.
If I don't have it (like to live it) by now, will another book help?

It could help or it could not help. Does that answer your question?

There wasn't any real answer to the question, so your non answer fits LOL

Just go to a bookstore, and be sure that the
bookseller will not ask you: "which version?".
There is but one.

- Didn't know that.
Someone really interested will know
that it is the content which is important,
and not a specific form.
That there are different versions available
does not weaken the power of its content;
surely not for those who are ready to listen to it.

I'm not sure. Is God 1 or 3? I can't move on until this gets

Does it really matter?
I have a friend who's been involved with ACIM for a long time. She has the
first edition (blue book)
When the other versions started coming out I asked if she would like the
computer files, like the Urtext, JCIM etc and she said no, one book was
enough.
The idea is to live it and all the words and books in the world aren't
going to make that happen (on it's own)
But, if something seems right to you and "resonates" nothing wrong with
that.
They are all aids to help us remember.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Yup, he went from being an unemployed guitar player, staying home while his
wife worked, to selling books (and himself) as a religious teacher of some
kind.
Maybe he didn't read the busting loose from money books before all that
happened.

Thanks deb, I'll check it out.

Got to please the publisher & keep the sales going. Most books can be
written in about 10 pages.

The Course in one sentence. LET GO!

Are you offering this free now?
Awhile back someone posted a link to it (to download) on the TGP board. I
downloaded it, and later when I openned it, I noticed it said copyright Tom
Fox on it.
I didn't know if the person (I forget who) had gotten your permission to
give out the link to it as a download. Or, maybe they just didn't care LOL
I also bought the book at one time, but never got to reading it all. It's
really good, but for me it seems like something I might just pick up and
open as Guided.

Books is a good topic to use for sharing.

There is one set, at one time the first 2 volumes were out of print. I
found them from online book stores. They may be available now. The 3rd one
is out (but I think the earlier ones are better) Conversations with JC by
Grady Claire Porter. They aren't really ACIM related (directly) but a lot
about feelings and attitide, they mention "the high joy vibration" (like
Seek First the Kingdom)
I was looking them up righ tnow and all or part of Vol 3 is on Google Books
Don't know if this will open it's a long address. I put it in search
"Conversations with JC" and got links, including this one.
