I've been lurking for about a decade and began following on eye work
miracles (http://acimchat.ning.com/) and have especially appreciated
Pam's recent commentary on the Urtext. But, I find now it looks like
I have to get an account there to view the contents. I would so love
to continue reading Pam's commentary, but am disinclined to get an
account.

So all the folks who used to discuss things here in a free-and-open-to-
the-public forum are now putting their messages on a website that has
become inaccessible to non-account holders on a private website. I
have in mind Gene Ward Smith, John Lopez, Debra, Carrie, Maz, all of
whose contributions I was reading here in the early 2000's and more
recently at the eye-works.

I'm not sure what that group is, I think some from the newsgroup have gone
on to those forums. I don't know why because they seem to be moderated and
censored, but maybe they feel this keeps them being "good" LOL
I tend to say what I think, feel and believe and don't get along good on
moderated groups. Someone doesn't like it and deletes what I write and I
figure why bother writing something if someone who doesn't agree is in
power to wipe it out.
I think I must have been in one of those at one time, because I
occasionally get notices from them. Are they all Robin/Bodhi has started?
I thought they were always private, like you had to join and be approved
and if they didn't like what you wrote they banned you. Not you, personally,
but anyone.
It would be good to get this newsgroup (talk religion course miracles)
more active again.
I like the freedom to learn my own lessons, and have groups that allow
this, but apparently a lot of others feel differently. I do feel I have
learned a lot (various things in various ways) from all the groups.
I started on www.marianne.com in 1998 (at the time there were discussion
boards there that were unmoderated and open to all)
ACIM says "what isn't love if fear" I think making groups private,
exclusive, and moderatin, censoring and banning on them is a reflection of
this, and a contradiction to what ACIM teaches. But, a lot of ACIM groups
are like that.
To each his/her own.
