More on Awaken from the dream

I was thinking more about this, and how some feel they must "work hard" and
focus on this, to make it happen. And, in some cases Jesus even teaches
this.
The way I understand ACIM ( and I know, I've been told by the experts I am
wrong in this) It only takes "one" to Awaken fom the dream. One, because
all minds are joined, and we are all "one" in Truth. And, that "one"
(Jesus) has already Awakened for ALL. Just now, like a ripple effect, those
who still believe and are caught up in the idea of separate bodies/egos just
have to remember this.
But, the Awakening from the dream has already been done. The "one" did it,
already. Jesus. Now it's just a matter of remembering, letting go of the
blocks to this.
But, I guess those who teach otherwise, like it will take a long time, and
hard work and much listening to teachers (and supporting them financially
in this, in some cases) have a vested interest in people NOT remembering
this. And that Jesus already did it, and since we are all one, and minds are
joined, we can access any information we might need, and get answers to any
questions about it, at no cost, just for the believing this and being open
to it.
There's no need to take a long time and buy the stairway to heaven. It's
all there, at no material cost. Though, I suppose, those who believe this,
create it as reality for them, and can't see any other way.

What utter crap.

We are not ONE. We are Individuals. Individuality is sacred.

We are a PART of 'larger' beings, in the same sense that a town
is an individual and a part of a county -----> state ---->
country.

Right now you and I are a part of a being we could call
the Human Race. And we are still Individuals.

No, Carrie. You have to 'awaken' yourself. No one else can
do it for you. And it is nothing to worry about because it
is inevitable.

Working hard does not work. It's actually the exact opposite and
involves the ego since it stresses time so much and a state of mind
you're "not" in.

A quite melting in does work,letting go of everything, space,time,
path, etc.

I agree. I just occasionally check out the "Raj" group and they believe
it's something that one must DO like work hard and focus on. I guess they
get this from what Raj says.... First off, I would think they would want to
focus on being more forgiving, accepting, and joining, and not banning
people who are evil and out to do them harm, from the group LOL Maybe that
WOULD be hard work and require focus? When I once read that Raj said "there
really are mean people in the world who want to do us harm we need
protections from" (paraphrased from memory) after banning someone from their
group (for asking questions and pointing out inconsistencies, etc) I didn't
see how anyone could put "A Course in Miracles" and "Raj" together in any
way. But, apparently some believe that way. Or want a Jesus that agrees with
them.
I know, doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, or believes, or says.
Everyone can whatever Jesus they want.
Aside from not believing that Raj teaches ACIM (the way I believe it) I
do feel we can and do learn a lot from everyone. Even in ways we might not
always be aware of.
I also think that when we "Awaken from the Dream" it won't be anything
we're really aware of, will just be a gradually happening. As you say
letting go.
Change the dream to a happy one, and God Himself will do the rest. And
I don't think it requires anyone being dragged against their will, kicking
and screaming. Maybe "in time" it will never even happen. But, doesn't
really matter, does it? Life is a journey not a destination.
