Discussion:
The Neutrality of Creativity

In order for Free Will to exist, Creativity has to be basically
neutral. That is, fears are as easy to actualize as hopes.

But this isn't really true. Reality is actually bent towards the
positive in a significant way.

It takes 14 muscles to smile and 47 to frown :-)

The human body is obviously inherently healthy, or the human race
would have ceased to exist a very long time ago.

Hurting someone feels awful. Helping someone feels wonderful...

The secret of a good life is to do what feels good and right and
ignore the contrary counsel of fools.

Pretty simple, really.

Have you been listening to Abraham? (actually, Abraham is sort of
a spinoff from Seth)
I agree with what you say. And it really is pretty simple.

No. But I've heard of him.

Seth made it very clear that he wouldn't be speaking through
anyone else but Jane Roberts in this historical period in order
to maintain the integrity of the Seth Material.

So that isn't true in any literal way.

Infinitely complex, yet simple to us. Pretty neat.

Spinoff wasn't the best word. Jerry and Esther Hicks got
interested in the Seth material, got into meditation, and Esther
started picking up on and speaking for "Abraham" (they said they don't
really have a name, but she could use that one). I like it because it
makes sense (my critria most of the time)
If you put Abraham-Hicks YouTube in google you'll find hundreds
of videos.
Check it out you might like it. Or might not. It's mainly being
positive. Since we are creating our own reality, why not make it the
best we can.
Uplifting.

I'm with you, but there's a lot negativity around and it
has to be faced, not just swept under the table.

Otherwise you are likely to find yourself with conflicting
beliefs instead of healed. The conflict between the negative
and the positive bleeding your energy and accomplishing nothing
else.

Everything for a good reason, even negative things. You have
to face the beliefs behind the negative thing and the reasons
for them, all of which can be found in your conscious mind.

I have read quite a bit of the first two Seth books already.

And I've looked at a lot of Seth websites. They all have featured
what I can only call 'Seth Lite'. All positive and brutally suppress
the negative, which is _not_ what the Seth Material teaches.

I thought someone else did speak for Seth for awhile after Jane's
passing from form?

Seth and Abraham, both non physical energy speaking through someone
in form.

Someone _said_ they were...

I understand that you can _talk_ to Seth with
a little practice, but not channel him.

I think that's what I was try ing to say, in the topic about "the
secret" (that sits in the middle and knows, letting all the chaos go on
around it)
I remember a saying back in the Vietnam days "suppose they gave a war
and nobody came?"
Or maybe "the sound of one hand clapping".
Or, as my mother (and others at the time) would say when the kids were
squbbling and one did something to the other and started it... "it takes
two".

A gem. That saying made me realize that competition doesn't really
exist. It's just negative cooperation. Quite artificial.

When there's a crime in many traditionally-oriented Native American
communities, they work on healing the entire community, not just
the person who acted out for it.
