I guess it depends on how you think about it- and see it.

I like some metal. Some of the songs sound out so sweet, then change into
pounding.
One I like (that doesn't start out sweet (LOL)

I think I like the "energy" of it. And the effects in the music. They
play/sing so fast and it all comes out even in the end (LOL)
Sometimes I'm in the mood for Iorn Maiden, etc and sometimes Josh Groban.
Sometimes no music at all.

I tried to listen Carrie but I really don't like most metal music.
Love Led Zeppelin tho.
Here's David Garrett on Seattle TV this morning. He starts his
American tour tonight.
He does Micheal Jackson's Smooth Criminal and he also plays Flight of
the Bumblebee.
He's in the Guinness World Book of Records as the fastest violinist in
the world playing 14 notes a second.

You don't have to like it. LOL
Just that, to me,there might be something to like about anything (any
kind of music)
For me, I have a hard time liking "jazz", All those playing, it seems
like different songs at the same time, it annoys me.
So, I just don't listen to it, if at all possible.

No. It's easy to imagine him making stupid statements like that.

Forcing himself, against his screaming intuitions and common sense,
to accept the anti-Truths that infest "A Course In Miracles"
(which is no such thing) has damaged his ability to think clearly.
He is no longer capable of intellectual honesty.
