They think they are going to drive me away.

ROTFL!

Of course, how articles that I don't even read are going to
accomplish that is beyond me.

But then, I have a functioning mind that hasn't been addled with
sprititual poison such as that found in A Course In Miracles,
which is no such thing.

The brain-dead Christian fundamentalist who supposedly "channeled"
ACIM, didn't even know what "miracle" meant.

What you have here, are closet fundamentalist Christians
pretending to be something else, and peddling the same basic
spiritual poison that has rendered the Christians of this world
the most despiccable of human beings.

Lucky for me they don't have the self-discipline to ignore my
articles. Because that's the only course of action that would
impress all the people reading this group. And there are a lot.
Just check at googlegroups.

Why would anyone want to drive you away? You liven things up, and brought
the newsgroup back from near death, to something with the potential to be
somewhat interesting again.
Even if you don't read what we write, we can still write to you, and each
other.
This is the most fun it's been here in a long time.

They're wrong. You will continue to waste your time here. It's a
compulsion. You can't leave, even if you wanted to.

People have tried to explain all this. He/she doesn't really care, just
throws stuff out to see what might start.
Are you still in Australia? Probably too far south to be effected by
the cyclone. I spent last night and part of today looking at live web cams
and writing to people (some there, some not) about it. I feel like I was
actually there. And, I know more about the country (small towns where the
cyclone came in, anyway)

I still feel really good about this, the joining. Though the webcams
weren't up yesterday (probably no power and batteries dead in iphones) so I
couldn't reconnect with them again. A lot of the people chatting (beside the
live webcam) weren't in the area, they were from all over the world. Some
were there, right in the path of the cyclone, riding it out. There were some
(online groups) who were visualizing safety, even the idea of angels
spreading their wings over the area for protection. The power of "mind"
joining and coming together like this.
Someone late said that "so far" there were no loss of lives from the
storm, even though we kept hearing it was going to be the worst cyclone in
recorded history. Also seems odd there was little or no mention of it on
our TV channels, even The Weather channel. It was all about the big
blizzard- monster storm (seems like they all get called that now) coming
across the USA. We had this, it snowed from Tues night, all Weds and still
is a little today (Thurs morning) and I didn't pay any attention to it. The
plows are out clearning the streets.
In Australia there was this monster cyclone hitting, being called the
worst storm in recorded history (maybe for there?) and I felt like I was
part of it, indirectly, like I had gone there and back.
Of course, all minds are joined, and (I think) we only BELIEVE we need
the computer, phones, TV, etc to connect. Pieces of plastic with a few
wires, etc in them. At some point we will realize we don't even need that.
(and the computer industry will crash (LOL)

it tough. Computers are making a real difference in getting people together.

Ballina, NSW-
Well, thanks for letting me know I was rambling (is that good or
bad?)
And for setting me straight about the cyclone. Apparently the
people who were actually in it, with webcams, phones and calling in to
radio talk shows were making stuff up.And those posting videos after,
showing trees down, roofs gone on a few houses. The media was saying
it was the worst storm in recorded history, which is saying a lot.
Seems like the chilen earthquake and Hurricane Katrina (in the USA)
were a lot worse.
Though, didn't you say you wern't near it or affected by it?

There are towns where a third of the houses have been totally destroyed.
