Discussion:
Problems at FACIM?
(too old to reply)

~ At the end of January I ordered two of Wapnick's audio CDs from
Amazon. At that time Amazon indicated the items were not in stock and
it would be about 3 weeks before they would ship. That was OK with
me. Now, 3 weeks later, Amazon tells me that they haven't yet
received the CDs from the publisher, FACIM, at that there will be
another 2 week delay.

~ Is FACIM having some type of organizational problems that anyone
knows about? I would have thought that shipping CDs would be a fairly
routine matter for them, but if Amazon can't get their orders filled,
it sounds like trouble.

~ Anyway, it's not a problem. In the meantime I have found a place
where I can rent these CDs for much less expense. So, I canceled the
order to purchase them from Amazon.

~ Anyone know anything?

I know I'm surprised you ordered Wapnick
CD's to being with. Other than that, no.

"Be still my beating heart."

From the poem 'All One', Mary Elizabeth Coleridge (1861 - 1907)

Be still, my beating heart, be still!
There is no hope for thee to-night.
The fading of the wintry light
Has made a blackness of the hill.

Be still, be still, my beating heart!
For thee to-night there is no fear.
The moon has risen white and clear,
And we shall neither meet nor part.

Just a little clip from "Nothing Like the Sun" by Sting:

Be still my beating heart
It would be better to be cool
It's not healthy to run at this pace
The blood runs so red to my face...

I've been through every single book I know
To soothe the thoughts that plague me so...

In a rare live appearance performing Dowland's music, Sting and
Karamazov's concert at St. Luke's Church in London was also captured
as a live audio recording and serves as the bonus CD included in the
package. Featuring selections from Labyrinth, the CD also contains the
consummate hit "Message in a Bottle" arranged for lute, as well as a
rendition of the Robert Johnson blues classic, "Hell Hound."

And here I thought I had most or all of Sting's work... you know, Sting can
sing anything, anything at all. I have a hard time deciding between 3
favorites: "Nothing Like the Sun" (was played hundreds of times in the 80's
and 90's) "The Soul Cages" (maybe my fave, and written for his father, for
one) and "Sacred Love." I haven't listened to my music for some time now
though... I only started turning the radio up *just* a little so I can make
out some bars and tunes.

~ This one is brand new, just released this month. The claim is that
it is an Amazon.com exclusive, so I figured you didn't know about it

You would know better than I would, and I realize I was thinking of Wayne
instead of Ken for some unknown reason now. Well Ken is still an ole fart,
and doesn't back up what he says on the phone in my case at any rate. Next
time (hopefully there won't be a next time) all of the missing notes start
to get under my skin, I think I'll get me a tape recorder for the phone! I
still recall this conversation, in which he told me I could have access to
the notes. I think it was Doug who said Ken was only jawing with me, or
that I couldn't be depended upon to present accurate information about the
dealings. Oh well.

"The public domain version of A Course in Miracles is presented in this
site."

Well, it is one of several, and one that shows 11660 basic changes compared
to the ur-compendium (hlc) that appeared 29 November '99. Someone
obviously was out to demonstrate how to *really* mess with the Course.
This one even misses entire sections....

For textual contrast document availability of 4 public domain

will gladly help.

I ususally order his cds either from him or miracle dist. center and get

~ At the end of January I ordered two of Wapnick's audio CDs from
Amazon. At that time Amazon indicated the items were not in stock and
it would be about 3 weeks before they would ship. That was OK with

Hey, Tom. I honestly see you as missing what Ken would lead you to if you got 'yourself' out of the way. I would be more than happy to talk to you privately about why this kind of thing happens with Ken. Basically, it is our 'thoughts' - if you see Ken as 'an old fart' that misses notes......then that is what you will continue to see. Get it? He is NOT going to get into controversies and try to 'prove' any point 'right' because there isn't ANY POINT!! When you get this - that is IT!! And this is why so many people project on Ken......and if that is what they need to do....so be it. But why do you care about talking to him then? That is really an important part of this. Why do you want to 'change' him? Why do you think you 'know' and Ken doesn't? Ego's want 'proof' -- so you can tape record your conversations - but it will still be the same thing......it will be 'interpreted' by minds the way they WANT to interpret it. So you could have 100 people agreeing with you. What does that prove? Only that 100 people are choosing the same 'thought system.' This is the INSANITY of ACIM students/teachers. If you are 'willing' - just a bit - to go deeper -- you will be amazed. But no one - not me, not Ken, not no one, can choose that for you. I KNOW we are climbing the same mountain and will be in Heaven together........just a matter of how we choose to get there -- but you have to 'let go' of judgments - even of Ken. I am sure you know that....it is really a 'happy lesson' -- not at all what we tend to think.........
Love you,
Jeannie
