Since I don't like Chrome, I click to upgrate to a "modern browser" and it says I am using the newest one now..
I guess this is just another way to get people to think they need Chrome.

Also, I once set up a GMail acct I don't use, and even when I sign in Google Groups with my old yahoo email (I always used before, on Google groups and when I got the newsgroups in Usenet) it signs me in with the Gmail account.

yes I agree Carrie, once google had a conscience, it would seam to
no longer be the case. shame, they could have been an icon of
corporate responsibility, in an otherwise irresponsible community
of multinational corporate citizens. a benchmark to which others
aspire. shakes head...
