Is this OK, or not? Youtube allows music uploads and has advertisments to
go along with the video. The ads are inserted. I have some audiobooks I am
thinking about posting.

So most copyrighted music is allowed on youtube. I don't know about
audiobooks. I have the audiobook for ACIM.

That would be good posting audio books. Seems like you might have to do it
in parts?
As to it being okay or not, I guess you can try it and find out. I have
seen some YouTube videos that say "removed due to copyright" or something,
but they were more like scenes from current TV shows.
I know, they do have just about every song you could want (old or new) on
YouTube. I download some with Real Player and convert them to mp3s. Just for
my own use. But that was what the Napstar thing was about that time.
I looked in google and all I an find are websites about uploading
audiobooks. Like how to do it. I saw something about "Brave New World" in 12
parts.
If you put a book in search (YouTube) does it come up? I mean, others
are doing it?

I found To Kill A Mockingbird on youtube. I couldn't resist that one, haha.
I guess I'll just post and if they don't like it, they remove it or I will.

I didn't realize they had audio books on YouTube. I'm sure if someone
doesn't like it they will take it off or ask you to. I have seen TV clips
that say "removed because of copyright infringement". But I don't know how
many actually bother doing this. Tracking down YouTubes of copyrighted stuff
and having it removed.

I wonder why they allow copyrighted music in the first place. They make
such a big deal about this with Limewire, Frostwire.

I use keepvid.com to record the video to my computer. It's great if there's
something that's going to be removed, but you can get it before. T

I know, that whole Napstar thing. Maybe because people were putting up
(and downloading) entire albums and collections? Actually, they still are.
I use Real Player to download YouTubes, then this has the option of
converting it to mp3.
You can find just about anything, which you probably know. Even old 50's
etc songs.I don't know how they allow it, but I enjoy it, and it's a
sharing.
