Discussion:
The idea of "all One"

I read this in a horiscope today. About some of the planets in Pisces, and
moon in Scorpio (water signs)
Seems like a good visual of "us". Separate, but at the same time, swiming in
the ocean of All.

"We are each like individual fish, separate yet connected to each other as
the great ocean of consciousness flows through us."

I read this in a horiscope today.
The comics are more edifying.

What has simplisitic, superstitious nonsense like astrology
got to do with this?

The City of Seattle is a valid, individual city, even though it
is _also_ a part of the County of King, which is, in turn, a
part of the State of Washington.

We are all a part of an individual being called "The Human Race".
So what?

The Self has no boundaries or seperations. What we experience of
another person while alive, is a part of what we are. When you
mistreat another human, or the world, then you mistreat yourself.

This does not mean we are all one, however. We obviously aren't.
Reality is exactly what it seems to be when examined with an
open mind. Individuality is sacred.

There is no one on this kindergarten plane with anything close
to 'cosmic consciousness', or a direct awareness of God, or
All That Is, as an individual entity.

People who say that the only thing that matters is the 'larger'
consciousnesses we are a part of are fools.

The body is the soul in chemical clothes. Energy changes form.
The Spirit becomes Flesh.

I just thought it was a nice visual.
I tend to see things in creative ways. I could picture it...
