You are right to be suspicious. Most "explanations" are
simply re-phrasings of the ideas they are trying to get
you to accept. Disguised repetitions. This is like from
Propaganda IA.

There probably aren't that many people involved. Socks
are easy in the virtual world.

Well, it sees to be based on a book, someone wrote (without any real name,
a "foundation") and selling for a high price.
There's been so much discussion on these ACIM radio shows or whatever
about it, people will be running out (or online) to buy it so they can be
"in" with the latest teaching.
When ACIM is clear and simple and could just be experienced and lived as
best one can (at the time). What's the point of anything else?
Are those teaching this new book living it (themselves) as an example, any
more than they did ACIM?
I suppose the idea is, they "teach" what they need to learn (according to
ACIM). And those who don't feel a need to be taught it (personally) won't
pay for the book and listen to it.
Another book, another teacher... on and on.
The course says it's not the words/form that teaches it's the love.

I think we are looking at commercial interests here. Why build
another house? Because carpenters need the work and the mill
needs to sell the lumber...

I'd say that it's the ideas-beliefs it teaches and
that one of those ideas-beliefs is love.

Of course, and it seems really simple. Just come from Right Mind/Spirit
(love) and be aware when we're not. and let things go.
I wonder why the people who post ads for their talks and "shows" about
ACIM here don't come here and write about it and actually discuss it, too?
Instead of having "shows" where they TELL people what it's all about?
I know Sheryl used to but then decided not to anymore. She also said she
found a way to post her ads for her talk shows on this newsgroup (on google)
without having to read the posts. Which seems kind of odd, considering what
ACIM says about seeing separation. Though, of course, I don't have to see
it in a separation way. Just that she puts her "ads" here (come and listen
to HER tell us what ACIM means and how we should believe it.
For me, anyway, I think I learn more from being part of this group, no
matter what it seems to be at the time.
It has gotten kind of rough at times, but isn't that when we have the best
opportunity to learn? (it's easy to love those who love us back and are nice
to us...)
I know someone currently in jail, who requested and got a course book.
One day he seemed kind of angry and I asked if he was mad because of being
in jail (he didn't really commit a crime like rob a bank or beat up someone.
It's mainly from emtional/mental/bipolar stuff) he said "no... we're not

I know Sheryl used to but then decided not to anymore. She also
said she found a way to post her ads for her talk shows on this
newsgroup (on google) without having to read the posts. Which
seems kind of odd, considering what ACIM says about seeing
separation.
Though, of course, I don't have to see it in a separation
way. Just that she puts her "ads" here (come and listen to
HER tell us what ACIM means and how we should believe it.
For me, anyway, I think I learn more from being part of this
group, no matter what it seems to be at the time. It has
gotten kind of rough at times, but isn't that when we have the
best opportunity to learn? (it's easy to love those who love
us back and are nice to us...)

I know someone currently in jail, who requested and got a

You are right to be suspicious. Most "explanations" are
simply re-phrasings of the ideas they are trying to get
you to accept. Disguised repetitions. This is like from
Propaganda IA.
There probably aren't that many people involved. Socks
