Awesome movie!! To make scrrnsaver from youtube download freeware
www.instantstorm.com. If you use Frefox, they have loads of video
download extensions to download youtube videos. Once you done that,
import it into instantstorm and export it as screensaver <3

I just tried Instant Storm and it said it made it, but was all
black. Do I have to convert the file from YouTube to something
else first? I have Firefox but don't use it. I use RealPlayer
to download YouTubes. Putting the mouse on the top of the YouTube it
shows a box "download" It will also (after downloading) convert the
audio from it to mp3. But I wouldn't do that if I wanted to make a
screensaver. I have Acme Screensaver maker which works great but only
with still pictures (in a slide show with transitions) and music if I
want. I've found usually music gets a little much on a screensaver.
I like making them, if I use music with the theme from Cosmos
by Vangelis. It's so beautiful and uplifting.

after this post as it's nearly 4am here. I don't make scrrnsavers, but
I do make my own subliminals which I use in the mind movies I create. I
don't have any on youtube right now as my goals are rather specific. At
some stage, I plan to make something more general and upload it.
As for instantstorm, it uses Flash format, which all youtubes are. I
don't know if realplayer converts them into standalone videos or
something. It's possible. Flash videos from youtube have a .flv

Google groups. I think I need to find a way to save YouTubes in a
better file format. I probably won't do this too much, just like to
get things figured out. If I MADE the flash myself it would work

I ended up converting the FLV to SWF and that worked with Instant
Storm.
For years I have dabbled in learning Flash (I now have version 8, and
what
complicates it more, the versions are usually so different you have to
find
tutorials just for them. Like I had MX previously) I never thought of
that,
RealPlayer changing the YouTube Videos to something else. I've been
told
Firefox (which I have in but don't use) can save YouTube videos. I
also had
something once called KeepVid that worked for awhile but then seemed
to not.
I never could figure out Firefox doing it, kept saying I needed no
plugins
or codex or something. If I can find a good way to change the FLV to
SWF
that would solve it. What I used last night was AVS video convertor
and it
puts a logo in the middle if you don't buy it and register it. But I
did
manage to get one made. I wanted a screensaver of some of the good
positive
affirmation ones I find.

ago. I
would stand across the room and read stuff (low sound) and combine
them with
music LOL I wore out a lot of cassette player/recorders over time and
now
doing the same with cd players. Currently only have my computer cd/dvd
rom
drives for this.

Also, when it's made into a screen saver, blown up bigger it's not
as clear as smaller. Due to you Tube (smaller) quality files.I do a
lot with still cameras/digital and Photoshop, etc. but not much with
video/movies (so far)

I'm having a hard time posting on here lately (via Outlook Express). No
matter what I DL Youtube with (Real Player or Keep Vid) it saves as a FLV
and the screen saver makers want SWF. I did convert the one I wanted (about
the power of words) and make a screensaver, but it isn't too clear (because
the YouTube vid was smaller size)
Gives me something to do. I'm thinking of trying ways to maby make it
smaller with a background around it(so the picture isn't as small) in Flash.
But, usually Flash won't open something someone else made. And original
Flash file is an FLA.
But I have it working. Probably will have to make my own Flash and use
that.
I would like to make one with affirmation pictures and the music from
"Cosmos". Though if I did that I could make it with my Acme Screen Saver
maker program. And I have already done this.

I've never used Flash myself (any version). Years ago, I was bigtime
into programming, but I've not done any for a long time. I'm more into
using my PC, these days, for research.

I've spent the last 12 or so years using mine to find all the ways to
make people mad (not on purpose (LOL)
Comes down to don't say anything to anyone about anything. But, you
and I have been having a peaceful conversation about this. I never got into
programing. I missed the dos age and learned a bit of that as needed, when I
had Windows 98. I sometimes think "computers make our lives so much easier
and give us all this free time?" It seems more like they own us. I get told
I should have a MAC then I can just use it and not always be fixing it and
taking virueses out and correcting missing files, etc. But, they seem so
expensive. And, I like to learn new things. Though now they have Windows 7
(which I will put off having as long as possible, I like what I have) and
always one step ahead.
Gives us something to do, I guess. I love the instand communication around
the world, too. It has such potential for good.
